I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both DC and Virginia, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I’ve been practicing for over 14 years providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults specializing in areas of depression, anxiety, relationship and life transition stressors, PTSD and trauma, addiction, marital/relationship discord, and grief and loss.

In addition to practice, I provide clinical supervision to students and other therapists in training.  I am also active in research, which centers on veterans’ issues and the psychological impacts of war and combat.  I’ve presented on the topic of moral injury at national and regional conferences.  As a registered therapy provider through the volunteer Give an Hour program, I also offer mental health services to U.S. troops.
