Therapy can provide you a safe space to explore an unresolved past, challenge unhealthy patterns, and provide you the tools you need to feel more in control of the life you want to live.
I believe that we all experience life through very different lenses, and there is not a “one size fits all” method when it comes to therapy. Each client brings a unique perspective, so I approach treatment with openness, acceptance, and appreciation for each client’s story. While tailoring treatment to fit individual client needs, I utilize an integrated approach of evidence- based therapeutic techniques. I practice from a number of models depending on what a client brings to the therapy session, but here are some of the most common approaches I am trained in and use:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); with a specific training in trauma-focused CBT
- Attachment-based Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Narrative Therapy
- Psychodynamic Therapy
Together, we can work towards identifying underlying issues that make you feel stuck and to guide you to make the change you’d like to see.
“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren’t always comfortable, but they’re never weakness.”
